Seattle customers narrow a search by neighborhood, and the neighborhood usually implies a bridge.
Use the names people actually type
Ballard, Fremont, Wallingford, Georgetown, Beacon Hill, the U District. People search the neighborhood far more than the city, because the city name says nothing about whether you will cross the water.
Match the vocabulary. A page titled for a name nobody near Ballard Avenue uses cannot rank for the name everybody uses.
Do not clone the page eight times
The standard move is to write once and duplicate with the name changed. Search engines flagged that years back, and a reader spots it the second your Rainier Valley page starts talking about a ship canal.
Take the place name out and if the two pages read the same, you wrote one page and shipped it twice.
The housing stock is the difference
Ballard and Wallingford are 1920s bungalows with basements and original wiring. Queen Anne is steep, with houses on slopes where access is the whole job. Rainier Valley runs mid-century and later, with more single-story and more parking.
Then run it back to the trade: what makes access difficult there, which call comes most, and where the quote lands above what people brace for.
Describe boundaries as bridges, not radii
A five-mile radius is meaningless when the five miles include a drawbridge that opens for boat traffic. West Seattle is close on a map and a genuine commitment in practice.
Describe it the way you dispatch it. North of the canal. West Seattle on scheduled days. Anything past 405 by quote.
Write for the weeks the city stops
Two inches of snow closes the hills and cancels everything on them. A windstorm takes trees down across the north end. Bridge closures reroute an entire quadrant for months.
A page saying how you handle atmospheric river season reads as local, and it is useful, which most local SEO advice forgets.
Measure calls, not visits
Grade the pages on booked jobs, not sessions. Three a month off a quiet page beats a busy one that never rings.
Sixty days is a fair trial. A page earning nothing by then almost always failed to say anything only you could say.
